CHANNEL 8
LPCTV administers 2 Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) Access cable television for the Black River Valley:
Channel 8 - public access channel - programming by the people, for the people
Channel 10 - Education & Government channel- programming by and for the school, local, state, & federal government.
Due to the high demands on channel time and capacity, LPCTV has adopted Programming Priorities, which help guide the scheduling of the channels.

Producers may request timeslots when they submit programs. LPCTV staff does its best to accomodate those requests. Channel time for public access producers is allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Government meetings are videotaped and presented by LPCTV as part of our public service to the community, to help community members stay informed through uninterrupted, unedited coverage of local municipal and school boards in action.
Meetings are presented each night at 7pm. They normally repeat at midnight and 9am the following morning.

School-related and educational programming are also given routine timeslots throughout each week.
These programs feature activities and events being held throughout the local school districts, as well as infromation pertinent to students, parents, faculty, and members of the community.
